On September 11th we were hosting the American Red Cross of Greater New York on our Corporate T1 and with the distractions of the day we failed to notice the growing load on our T1 circuit. To our amazement later in the day we noted that the bandwidth demands place on our circuit had skyrocketed and had maxed us out. We quickly moved the Red Cross from our circuit to a high speed Internet and our network problems were solved. The American Red Cross was appreciative of our quick response and wrote us a very nice letter of appreciation.Later in developing a more permanent solution to the NYREDCROSS.ORG needs we determined that there are many potential clients out there who have needs which can be solved with our new high speed data center solution.
