About the Artist

Silvia Martinez (Schiffmann) is a native Swiss. She attended the Graphic Arts School in Basel, Switzerland for four years and completed her apprenticeship with the well known graphic artist, Ferdi Afflerbach.

Silvia has worked at several graphic arts studios and advertising agencies. She also paints with tempera colors and has exhibited in several art galleries. In furthering her art studies she has traveled extensively in Spain, Cuba, France, Germany and Italy.
